Precision Associates, Inc. (PAI), a manufacturer of precision-molded elastomer components, announced that it has earned the Committed Badge from EcoVadis following its most recent sustainability assessment.
EcoVadis is a globally recognized provider of business sustainability ratings that evaluates companies in four key areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The assessment helps organizations measure and improve their environmental, social and governance performance.
In its latest evaluation, PAI improved its overall EcoVadis score to 49, up from 43 in the previous assessment. The improvement reflects a series of initiatives implemented over the past year, including the addition of on-site solar power, expanded recycling and waste-sorting programs, enhanced employee training and process improvements designed to reduce waste and improve manufacturing repeatability.
The company also strengthened several internal policies, added new policies and expanded existing guidelines related to ethics, labor and human rights and environmental responsibility. Additional employee training initiatives included updated code of ethics training, revised anti-harassment and non-discrimination training programs and expanded workplace awareness and safety training.

Precision Associates continues to evaluate opportunities to strengthen its sustainability initiatives. The company plans to use feedback from the EcoVadis assessment to identify additional improvements and further advance its environmental and social responsibility efforts in future submissions.
